The North Patchogue Volunteer Fire Department is a progressive group of volunteers providing fire and emergency services to the community in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Whether you have no prior knowledge of firefighting or ems experience or you’re seasoned, skilled, and looking for a new challenge, North Patchogue Fire Department has a spot for you. We offer a wide range of opportunities that are rewarding and fulfilling.

We provide a full range of firefighting, emergency medical, and heavy rescue skills to the population of over 18,000 out of our three firehouses strategically placed throughout the 6.6 square miles of the fire district. From these firehouses, we run a full complement of emergency vehicles including three engines, two ladders, a heavy rescue, and three ambulances. On any given day we respond to a variety of emergencies at our neighbor’s homes, commercial buildings, or along heavily trafficked Sunrise Highway which cuts directly down the center of our response area.
